Flood alert for Lune estuary south west of Lancaster

High tides over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 21:15 tonight to 01:15 on 06/12/25 and again between 09:30 and 13:30 on the 06/12/25
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast.
Areas affected include Aldcliffe Marsh, Heaton Marsh, Marsh, Greyhound Bridge, Skerton Bridge, Newton, Overton, Middleton, Glasson, Conder Green, Conder Bridge and Thurnham Moss
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
