River levels remain high in response to recent heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk include the Holderness Drain area, including Leven and Bransholme. No further significant rainfall has been forecasted. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water. Take care and consider activating your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated by 9am on Thursday 09/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
Flood alert area: Upper Hull area including Kilham, Nafferton, Driffield, Bainton, North Dalton, Leconfield, Leven, Brandesburton, North Frodingham and Beeford.
