River levels remain high on the River Derwent. As a result, flooding is possible today, Sunday 14th December 2025. Locations most affected will be local roads and low-lying land near rivers around Stamford Bridge, Pocklington, Wressle, Wilberfoss and Elvington. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 8:00PM on Sunday 14th December 2025, or as the situation changes.
