High tides from Thursday morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible around the Thursday morning (09/10/2025) 5 AM high tide, between 4 AM and 6 AM.
Flooding is also possible on subsequent hight tides including the 5:45 AM on Friday 10/10/2025.
Areas most at risk are low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast, specifically at Newcastle Quayside.
Tidal conditions are expected to improve following the Friday afternoon tide when no further flooding is expected.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid roads, footpaths and carparks at Newcastle Quayside, which may be flooded.
