Flooding is possible from the evening of 12 March 2026 and levels will remain high overnight.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers.
We are closely monitoring the situation .

Flood alert area: River North Tyne and its tributaries from source to the confluence with the River Tyne.
