Rising river levels tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the morning of 09 December 2025 .
Rainfall from Storm Bram will arrive early on Tuesday morning and continue into early Tuesday afternoon.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers.
We plan to close the flood gates in the Mitford Road/High Stanners area of Morpeth from 7:30am on 09 December 2025.
Properties at Wansbeck Street should operate their Property Level Protection now.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
