Flooding is possible over the high tide on Monday evening. High water at Falmouth is at 18:37, times of high water will vary along the coast.

Spring tides may cause some flooding over Monday evenings high tide.

Coastal conditions should ease for Tuesday morning's high tide, however, conditions are forecast to worsen from Tuesday evenings tide, bringing a further risk of flooding. Flood alerts and warnings may be issued.

Locations at risk may include low lying areas in Falmouth, Penryn, Flushing, Mylor Bridge and the A39 at Perranarworthal.

Waterside locations and roads along the estuary may be flooded. Do not walk or drive through flood water.

We are monitoring the situation and will update this information by midday Tuesday, or if the situation changes. The tidal gates at Flushing have been closed.

Detailed tidal information; The forecast high tide level at Falmouth is 2.61 mAOD. Expect tide levels to be around 0.1m above tide table level. Force 4 SW winds and offshore wave heights of over 1.3m are forecast over the high tide.
