Flood alert for Tidal Fal Estuary

High tides tomorrow may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying areas in Penryn commercial road, low lying areas of Mylor Bridge, A39 at Perranarworthal. The high tide at Falmouth on Wednesday is at 06:36am and 6:56pm, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.7mAOD and 2.44mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels along the coast to be up to 0.6 metres above tide table level. STRONG force 7 South easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2.9m are forecast over the high tides.
