Flood alert for North Cornwall Rivers

Forecast high river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from the evening of 23 January 2026 . 

Forecast levels may cause flooding to low lying land and roads close to the rivers from around 10pm on Friday and continue throughout the day on Saturday. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 

This message will be updated by 1:00PM on 24 January 2026 or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: Newquay, Padstow, Wadebridge and Sladesbridge, Bodmin, Lanivet, Boscastle and Camelford.
