Flood alert for South Cornwall coast from Lizard Point to Gribbin Head excluding the Tidal Fal Estuary

High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible over the high tide tonight on Thursday 16th July at 20:58.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal communities including Cadgwith and Coverack, Porthallow, the tidal Helford Estuary, Maenporth and Swanpool, St.Mawes, East Portholland, Gorran Haven, Portmellon, Mevagissey, Pentewan and Par.
The high tide at Falmouth on Thursday 16th July is at 20:58, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.61m AOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be up to 0.1 metres above tide table level. Force 2 westerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 0.6m are forecast over the high tide.
