Flood alert for South Cornwall coast from Lizard Point to Gribbin Head excluding the Tidal Fal Estuary

High tides and forecast weather conditions tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from 06:30 to 08:30 on Thursday morning. 

Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal communities, quay sides and harbours.

The high tide at Falmouth on Thursday is at 06:55, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.47mAOD. Force 4 north westerly winds and offshore wave heights of around 3.8m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions should ease for Thursday evening's high tide.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
