High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday evening (today) at 19:33.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal communities including Cadgwith and Coverack, Porthallow, the tidal Helford Estuary, Maenporth and Swanpool, St.Mawes, East Portholland, Gorran Haven, Portmellon, Mevagissey, Pentewan and Par.
The high tide at Falmouth on Tuesday is at 19:33, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.68mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.42 and 0.47 metres above tide table level. Strong force 6 SE winds and offshore wave heights of over 1.7m are forecast over the high tide.
