Flood warning for River Hayle from Relubbus to St Erth

High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected on 26 January 2026 and into Tuesday 27 January.
Heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise, with further bands of heavy rain forecast overnight and into Tuesday.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 22:00 on Monday night. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around the bottom of Tregembo Hill, Green Lane, Battery Hill Playground, Chapel Hill and Chenhalls Road. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 22:00 and 03:00, though we expect the river to remain high throughout the day on Tuesday.
