Flood warning for River Otter (Upper) from Upottery to Cadhay Bridge

High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 

Flooding is expected from the early hours of 27 January 2026 . 

Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the early hours.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 03:00AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Tracey Mill near Honiton, the Public House and properties around Trafalgar Bridge at Weston and properties at Fenny Bridges including Feniton Mills. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 02:00AM and 08:00AM.

Flood warning area: riverside locations and roads between Upottery and Cadhay Bridge, including Monkton, Honiton, Weston, Fenny Bridges and Gosford.
