The River Tone level at Currymoor pumping station is 7.72m. Water will enter Currymoor via Hookbridge spillway whilst above 7.45m. The drain level at Currymoor pumping station is 7.73m and slowly rising. Cutts Road and New Road remain closed. Athelney spillway is running and the A361 is closed. Pumping continues at Northmoor and Saltmoor and we have additional mobile pumps at both stations. The River Tone level remains high and pumping at Currymoor will commence when river levels allow. A band of persistent rain, at times heavy, is forecast through the afternoon and evening of today, Monday 9th February. Tuesday sees further bands of rainfall although totals are expected to be lower than on Monday. Catchments remain saturated and rivers are very responsive to rain. We are monitoring the situation closely and checking floodbanks, spillways and sluices. Please do not drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 1pm on 10/02/2026, or as the situation changes.
