Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 

Flooding is expected from the morning of 27 January 2026 . 

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Doniford Stream, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Areas most at risk include Roebuck Gate to Sampford Brett Bridge, including Water Bridge, Kingswood, Cottiford and riverside properties at Sampford Brett. 

We are closely monitoring the situation .
