Flood alert for Weymouth Harbour

High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from 5:45 am to 9:45 am on Tuesday 3 February. 

Areas most at risk include Weymouth Harbour and the tidal stretch of the River Wey, Commercial Road Car Park, Weymouth may be inaccessible, cars parked along the North side of Town Bridge could be affected. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Weymouth of 1.91 mAODN at 7:45 am, with Easterly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) 

We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. 

Consider activating any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
