Flood warning for Poole Harbour at West Quay and Lower Hamworthy Quay

High tides are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.  

Flooding is expected from 08:15 am to 12:15 pm on Tuesday 3 February.  

Areas most at risk include Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill, including areas by the lifting bridge and the roundabout at Sandbanks Carpark. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole RNLI of 1.47 mAODN at 10.15 am Tuesday 3 February, which is 0.55 m above tide tables, with Easterly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)  

We are closely monitoring the situation .  

Activate any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
