Flood warning for Poole Harbour at West Quay and Lower Hamworthy Quay

High tides are expected to cause flooding this evening.  

Flooding is expected from 6:57pm to 10:57pm on 05/11/25.  

Areas most at risk include Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole of 1.41 mAODN at 8:57pm which is 0.37m above tide tables, with south easterly Force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.). Further flooding is possible during the morning high tide of the 06/11/25 between 07:18am and 11:18am with a peak level of 1.41 mAODN at 09:18am with southernly Force 5 winds.  

We are closely monitoring the situation .  

Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded .
