Flood warning for Lower Stour at Iford Bridge Home Park

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding tomorrow. 

Flooding is expected on 28 January 2026 . 

River levels are showing that it will be necessary to evacuate Iford Bridge Home Park tomorrow morning, Wednesday 28 January ahead of flooding on site expected from Wednesday afternoon. Forecast levels will impact power to the site which will need to be turned off ahead of flooding.

Please make arrangements to evacuate the site by mid morning tomorrow. Arrange alternative accommodation for Wednesday night. If you need help with this please see BCP Council staff who will be on site and in the Church Hall opposite, on Wednesday morning.

Ensure all vehicles are moved off site. 

We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities and will continue to monitor the situation. 

Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so . Residents should monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
