High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 28 January 2026 .
This is a flood warning update. Increased flooding is forecast to impact the Lower Dorset Stour due to increased flows and tidal influence. Impacts are most likely in undefended areas of Willow Way, Marina View, Watermead, Priory Quay, Convent Meadows, Sopers Lane and Mayors Mead Car Park. We advise to move cars parked away from low lying areas and be prepared to evacuate if required. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities . Follow advice from emergency services and call 999 if in immediate danger.
