This is a Flood Warning Update. River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is expected at locations around the Middle Hampshire Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Southampton Road Retail Park, Salisbury Business Park on Dairy Meadow Lane and Dairyhouse Bridge Caravan Site. Further rain is expected tonight and tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
