The River Lavant remains high at Graylingwell following weeks of rain. Minor flood impacts will continue affecting fields, roads and gardens. Very little rain is forecast Monday to Wednesday but river levels will not fall far. More rain is forecast on Thursday and Friday (between 15 - 30mm) which may cause minor flooding at Sheepwash Lane, Pook Lane, the Green, and bridges across the river in East Lavant. We are operating structures in Westhampnett for the Flood Alleviation Scheme. Don't put yourself or others at risk. Avoid roads that flood (Sheepwash Lane). Report blockages to 0800 80 70 60. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 24/02/2026.
