High river levels on Friday may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 13 February 2026 as rain is forecast (15mm).

If rain falls as forecast today, river levels will rise this afternoon. Flooding is continuing to affect low lying land, roads, cycle tracks and footpaths close to the river. At Langbridge and Alverstone the river will be close to bank full. At Sandown, river levels remain high. Flooding continues to affect Golf Links Road and Moreton Common Road. Ditches around Fort Holiday Park are struggling to drain. At Brading, impacts continue at Nicholas Close. Further rain is forecast on Sunday. River levels will remain high into next week. A Flood Warning is in force for Sandown Brading and Bembridge.

We are checking rivers for blockages and operating Bembridge sluices.

Consider activating any flood protection products you may have .
