High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 from 14:00, as a lot of rain (29mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding could affect footpaths at Milford Bridge, opposite Lucerne Road, and potentially, gardens at Milford on Sea High Street. No impacts are expected at Ashley. Rain is forecast to continue until 16:00 on Thursday 18/12/2025. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Milford by 23:00 on 18/12/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation and operating Milford Dam.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses - particularly at Milford Bridge opposite Lucerne Road.
