High river levels on Wednesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 18 February 2026 from 20:00 as a lot of rain is forecast (25mm).
Flooding could affect footpaths at Milford Bridge, opposite Lucerne Road, and potentially gardens at Milford on Sea High Street. Rain is expected to clear from Hampshire during Thursday morning 19/02/2026. From the rest of Thursday 19/02/2026 to Sunday 22/02/2026, smaller amounts of rain are forecast. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Milford from Thursday 19/02/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation and operating Milford Dam.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . Particularly at Milford Bridge opposite Lucerne Road.
