High river levels on Tuesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 from 06:30, as a lot of rain (24mm) fell on Tuesday.
Flooding could affect roads through East Meon, West Meon including Lynch Lane, Shoe Lane and Church Lane, Exton and Bucks Head Hill at Meonstoke. The river may flood gardens and the Millennium Water Meadows at Wickham. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in East Meon by 10:00 27/01/2026. In Wickham, river levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 15:00 on 27/01/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have Particularly properties close to the river, or with pumps for groundwater.
