Flood warning for East Meon to Mislingford on the River Meon

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday. 

Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 06:30, as a lot of rain (23mm) fell on Tuesday. 

Flooding will affect roads and property in East Meon and West Meon High Street and at Lynch Lane, Shoe Lane and Church Lane Exton and the Bucks Head Hill, Meonstoke. It will compound and increase flood impacts in areas already affected by groundwater flooding. Rain is forecast to continue until 09:00 27/01/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in East Meon by 10:00 27/01/2026.
