Get flood warnings by phone, text or email
Groundwater levels in Twyford and Hensting are high and are just beginning to stabilise. At our borehole in West Meon, the level has risen by 29cm in the last week. Groundwater is flowing in the ditch at Finch’s Lane. The level is now very close to where we would expect a small number of properties in Twyford and Hensting to be affected by cellar flooding. From today (13/03/2025) to Monday (17/03/2025), only small amounts of rain are forecast. We expect groundwater levels to initially remain relatively stable before beginning to fall slowly from the weekend. We continue to monitor the forecast. If you use pumps to help reduce water levels, please ensure that they can operate. This Flood Alert will be updated by 18:00 on Thursday 20/03/2025.
