High groundwater levels may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 06/02/2026 because of a wet January 2026.
Flooding could affect cellars of a small number of properties in Twyford and Hensting. Further rain (up to 30mm) is forecast to affect Hampshire and the Isle of Wight tomorrow (03/02/2026). From Wednesday (04/02/2026) through to Friday (06/02/2026), lighter rain is forecast. Groundwater levels are expected to continue rising into next week.

Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed .
