River levels are rising slightly on the River Dikler. Flooding of roads and low lying land is expected to continue today (31/01/25), particularly around the confluence in Bourton on the Water. Some rain is forecast for this morning (31/01/25), but clearing by this afternoon, and the forecast for the coming days is currently dry. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Do not drive through flood water. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 01/02/25, or as the situation changes.
