Flooding is possible from today, Friday 24th October 2025, and over the weekend. We expect to see high water levels at Beccles Quay. River levels will remain high over the next couple of days. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 10:00am tomorrow, Saturday 25th October 2025, or as the situation changes.
Flood alert area: The tidal River Waveney from Ellingham to Breydon Water including Beccles Quay, Oulton Broad, Somerleyton, St Olaves, Haddiscoe and Belton.
