High tides, strong winds and large waves this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 6:45pm to 10:45pm on 05 February 2026. Areas most at risk are around Hunstanton seafront. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King's Lynn of 4.28 mAODN at 8:45pm on 05 February 2026, Wind Force 6, Easterly. There is some damage to the promenade that the Local Authority are aware of and are dealing with near the Waterside Bar. This does not affect the flood risk in that area. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 06 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
