Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 15 February 2026 . 

Areas most at risk are around the River Ivel from Langford to Blunham, including the rivers Purwell, Hiz, Flit and Hit. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. The forecast is mostly dry from this evening into the week, meaning river levels will peak soon and start to fall. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
