Flood warning for Grace Dieu Brook at Whitwick and Thringstone
River levels are rising at the Whitwick downstream river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding of property is imminent. Areas most at risk are Whitwick and Thringstone.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 24/09/2024.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
