River levels remain high at the Croxall river gauge as a result of rainfall and snowmelt. We expect flooding to affect properties around the Barton Turns area in Barton under Needwood and Lichfield Road area in Branston.
No further significant rainfall is forecast overnight and into tomorrow morning, 09/01/2025, but we expect river levels to remain high throughout the night.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
