High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 20 December 2025 over the next few days. Flooding may affect low lying land and Squires Walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook Kempsey. Kempsey Flood Alleviation Scheme may become operational from 18/12/25. Predicted peak:- Kempsey Yacht Club peaked this morning at 6.03m. Further rainfall is forecast Saturday and Sunday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 21 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
