High river levels today have led to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 15 November 2025 .

Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. Predicted peaks:- Llanymynech is peaking now at 4.50m, Cae Howel 4.6 to 4.8m on Sunday afternoon 16/11.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
