River levels remain high and may rise again in response to the recent rainfall. Flooding is possible today, Friday 13 February, and in the coming days. Flooding may affect low lying land & roads adjacent to the river from Highley to Tewkesbury: including Dog Lane Bewdley, Stourport, Diglis & Hylton Road towpath. Flooded drains affect the racecourse & Worcester CCG. PLP should be installed. New St Gate closed at Upton upon Severn. Peak information:- Bewdley peaked at 3.49m on Sunday 08/02 at 12:45AM, Worcester peaked at 4.90m on Sunday 08/02 at 07:30AM, Diglis peaked at 4.70m on Sunday 08/02 at 07:30AM, Kempsey Yacht Club peaked at 6.85m on Sunday 08/02 at 05:15AM, and Saxons Lode peaked at 5.15m on Monday 09/02 12:30AM. Further rain is forecast which may result in further rises on the river. We are closely monitoring the situation. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 14 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
