River levels remain high following heavy rain on Tuesday morning. A further spell of heavy rain is forecast for Wednesday morning, which could cause the level of the River Ehen to rise again, but to lower than was reached on Tuesday.
Locations most affected will be the river Ehen at Egremont, Bleach Green, Ennerdale Mill, Bridge End, Vale View, Wood Bank and the Rugby Club.

Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded .
