Flood forecast for the next 5 days

Flooding from rivers and surface water is probable today (Saturday) and tomorrow across parts of the North of England, with river flooding also probable in Dorset, Somerset and Essex. Inland flooding is possible elsewhere across England today too.

Ongoing river flooding is probable until Wednesday on some longer rivers and on the Somerset Levels, with groundwater flooding probable in parts of the South of England at least until then too.

Properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
