Ongoing flooding from groundwater is probable for Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Sussex over the next five days, and possible in Kent from Friday onwards. Ongoing flooding is probable from rivers across Somerset and Wiltshire. Ongoing local river flooding is expected along the River Trent today (Wednesday) and possible on Thursday.

Properties will flood and there will be travel disruption.

Local surface water and river flooding is possible for parts of England today. Local inland flooding is possible but not expected more widely until Sunday.
