Ongoing groundwater flooding is probable in parts of the South of England, along with river flooding possible but not expected on the Somerset Levels, throughout the next five days. Land, roads and properties could flood and there could be travel disruption.

Further local flooding is probable from surface water and possible from rivers across parts of the southwest of England on Thursday, with inland flooding possible more widely across England through Friday and Saturday.
