Ongoing flooding from groundwater is probable for Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and West Sussex over the next five days, and from rivers across Somerset. Ongoing local river flooding is expected along the River Trent today (Monday) to Wednesday. Ongoing local river flooding is probable for the lower reaches of the River Severn today and on Tuesday and possible in York today along the River Ouse.

Properties will flood and there will be travel disruption.

Local inland flooding is probable for the South and West of England today, and possible on Tuesday. Local inland flooding is possible but not expected more widely for the next five days.
