Flood forecast for the next 5 days

Widespread flooding is expected from surface water and probable from rivers across west and south Cumbria and possible but not expected across the rest of Cumbria and parts of the north Pennines on Wednesday. This could continue into Thursday and Friday, and also affect parts of Lancashire and the mid to south Pennines. Properties may flood and there may be travel disruption. Flooding is probable from surface water, and perhaps some rivers, for parts of Wales on Thursday and Friday. Local flooding is also possible for parts of the north of Wales on Wednesday evening, as well as elsewhere across England and Wales from Thursday to Saturday. Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
