Flood alert for Humber estuary from Spurn Point to Winestead Outfall

This Flood Alert remains in place for Tuesday mornings tide. Flooding is possible from overtopping wave and wind blown spray along the River Humber from Spurn Point up to Winestead Outfall on Tuesday 03/10/2023 from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This message will be updated by 10am on 03/10/2023, or as the situation changes.
