River levels remain high and further rainfall is expected which may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible today, Monday 2nd February 2026, and tomorrow, 3rd February 2026. Locations most affected will be riverside footpaths and low-lying land in York and to the south as far as Naburn Lock, including Kings Staith, Queens Staith, and South Esplanade. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 8:00am on 3rd February 2026, or as the situation changes.
