River levels in York remain high and are expected to stay elevated throughout today, Wednesday 10 December 2025, as rainfall associated with Storm Bram in the upper catchments moves downstream. Locations most affected will include properties on King’s Staith and riverside areas from Lendal Bridge to Millennium Bridge. The Foss Barrier is operating, and flood gates in York have been closed. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please take care and avoid walking, cycling, or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 03:0PM on 10 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
