Flood warning for Holderness Drain and Leven Drain at Leven

Levels remain high on Holderness Drain and Leven Drain due to recent heavy rain. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near Holderness Drain, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around farms and isolated properties on the east side of the River Hull and at Tophill Low. We are operating pumps across the River Hull catchment and are monitoring river levels closely. No significant rainfall is expected in the next few days. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 9am on Thursday 09/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
