Flood alert for North Cornwall coast from Chapel Porth to The Rumps excluding the tidal Camel Estuary

High tides, strong winds and large waves over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible over high tides from the evening of Friday 5th December to the evening of Saturday 6th December.
Low lying coastal roads, promenades, car parks and harbours may be flooded.
High tide at St Ives on Friday evening is at 17:10 and on Saturday morning at 05:32, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide levels are 3.81mAOD and 3.78mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels along the coast to be 0.4 to 0.5m above tide table level. Strong force 7 westerly winds and offshore wave heights of up to 6.0m are forecast.
The high tide of most concern is Saturday morning, and flood warnings maybe issued.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
