Flood warning for River Seaton from the A38 to Seaton

High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected overnight on Monday 26 January through to Tuesday 27 January 2026.
Heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise, with further bands of heavy rain forecast overnight and into Tuesday morning.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 10:00pm on Monday.
The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around Seaton Car Park and the Seaton Valley Nature Reserve. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 12:00AM and 2:00AM.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
