Flood alert for Rivers Clyst and Culm and their tributaries

Following the heavy rainfall from Storm Barra, river levels remain high on the Rivers Clyst and Culm and may respond to overnight rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads close to the river is possible overnight into Thursday 09/12/2021. No flooding to properties is currently forecast. Take care near the areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions. We are constantly monitoring river levels and will update this message on Thursday morning, 09/12/2021, or earlier if the situation changes
