Flood warning for River Clyst at Clyst St Mary

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 

Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 . 

Further rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 07:30 AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Clyst St Mary. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to be high throughout the day. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car . Activate any flood protection products you may have.
