Flooding is expected throughout Sunday 24th November.
Heavy rain falling in the North Dartmoor area will continue during Sunday. This is causing the River Taw to rise and flooding is expected.
Properties and low lying areas along the River Taw will start to flood first.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and this message will be updated if the situation changes.
Flood warning area: riverside locations and roads between Taw Bridge and Newnham Bridge, including Coldridge, Chenson, Eggesford, Chawleigh, Bridge Reeve, Colleton Mills and the B3220 at Taw Bridge.
