Water levels remain high on the Rivers Yeo and Parrett and surrounding moors. But with dry weather forecast for the days ahead. Low lying land and roads are expected to be most affected by flooding, particularly around the A37 south and A303 south west of Ilchester, the Ilchester to Limington road and road to Ilchester Meads. There is also a risk of flooding around Hainbury Mill, Ilchester. Please refer to the latest gauge levels on Check for Flooding and Somerset Council’s website for information on road closures in the area. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. And we are pumping when river levels allow. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 12:00 PM on 27 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
