Flood alert for River Yeo and Parrett, Yeovilton to Huish Episcopi

A considerable amount of floodwater remains on the Somerset Levels and Moors; low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Yeo are still affected.
We are utilising the Parrett Relief Channel downstream of this alert area and operating as many pumps as possible as river and water levels on the moors allow.
Monday is expected to be largely dry and the weather is forecast to be more settled until Thursday.
We are closely monitoring the situation, and our Field Teams are operating structures and pumps.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Don’t put yourself or others at risk.
