River levels in the West Somerset area have risen in response to today's rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible throughout Saturday 23/11/2024 and into Sunday.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Horner Water, River Aller, Washford River, Hawkcombe Stream, Monksilver Stream, Doniford Stream, with low lying land and roads expected to be most impacted.
Flooding is possible overnight tonight, as rivers are high and may respond further to overnight rainfall.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and clearing debris from weed screens. Please remain aware of local water levels and weather conditions, and avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 11 AM on 24/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
